Don Bluth Productions Directory
Don Bluth, Gary Goldman, John Pomeroy and 16 fellow animators left Disney in 1979 to found Don Bluth Productions. They studio partnered with Steven Spielberg and Amblin Entertainment for An American Tail in 1985 and The Land Before Time Cartoon Funny Pictures The Land Before Time in 1988. Renamed Sullivan Bluth Studios in 1985, the company moved to Ireland for lower production costs in 1986.
In 1989, they partnered with Goldcrest Films for All Dogs Go to Heaven. In January 1992, Sullivan Bluth Studios changed its name to Don Bluth Entertainment.
