To produce short films and documentaries in an alternative way. At the beginning of the nineties, the few cinema producers on the Belgian market were mainly authors-directors-producers, working almost exclusively for their own films: André Delvaux, Chantal Akerman, Marion Hänsel, Benoît Lamy...

It is with films that have become cult works, such as "Toto le Héros," or "Le maître de musique", where we are witnessing a veritable explosion in our national cinema. Some production structures - including Artemis - then appear in the Belgian audiovisual landscape, positioning themselves as independent producers, serving the creativity of our Belgian filmmakers and serving various international co-productions.
