He was one of the first characters created by Gene Deitch while at Terrytoons. This unlikely adventurer sported a funnel-hat, and could transform himself into any shape me wanted.

Production values were low- the series was filmed in black and white, with little or no backgrounds and thick-lined, blocky characters. But what it lacked in fancy artwork it made up for with great characterizations, dialogue and story lines.
