U.K. Film Council Studio Directory
A government body formed to promote the film industry in the UK. A board of 15 directors fund films they feel are important. Films were funded by a variety of sources including the National Lottery.
The government announced they were closing the council on July 26, 2010, and the UKFC fully closed on March 31 2011. Many of the councils functions passing to the British Film Institute.
